March 2008 On March 24 DVI was hosted by Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski and received a medal of recognition from him. Mayor Lupolianski praised DVI for improving the lives of Jerusalem`s underprivilidged children. Present at the meeting were some of the clinic`s management and staff, including Prof. Jonathan Mann, Dr Moti Moskovitz, Mr Ze`ev Birger. Also present were 3 volunteer dentists from Minnesota - Drs John & David Bengtson (father & son) and Dr Susan Gross. Mayor Lupolianski thanked Dr John Bengtson in particular for the time he has donated to the children of Jerusalem by volunteering at DVI over the last 20 years.
